Behind the name
At 18 years old, Hailey Jackson Boucher created Lioness Studios. Inspired by her own nickname, "Lioness", which she earned in high school due to her iconic big curly mane of hair, Hailey's vision for the studio was nothing short of courageous. With her unwavering dedication to taking on leadership roles from a young age, and her favorite color being gold, the title felt like a perfect fit.
Since then, Lioness Studios has become a symbol of bravery and strength, not just for Hailey, but for everyone who works there and for those who experience their creations. Their mission is to create films that are not just entertaining, but also bold and brave, loud and proud, like a true lioness. The Lioness concept has grown beyond just Hailey, as her partner in crime, Dominic, and the rest of the team continue to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
The name Lioness reminds us all that we too can be bold and brave, and that it's never too early or too late to chase after our dreams. They inspire us to stand up for what we believe in, to take risks, and to have the courage to be ourselves. With each new creation, Lioness Studios hopes to motivate us to be the very best versions of ourselves, and to embrace our own inner lioness.
Dominic's adventurous spirit has taken him all over the United States. From the rugged mountains of Montana to the desert landscapes of New Mexico and the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, he has explored and lived in some of the most beautiful places in the country. Along the way, he's developed a diverse set of skills and interests. In high school, Dominic discovered his love for performing, immersing himself in poetry, literature, music, and even juggling. He quickly became a standout performer, captivating audiences with his unique blend of talents. This passion for performance led him to discover acting in college, where he also found his calling in film production.
After attending film school in San Diego, Dominic and his partner Hailey decided to settle down in the beautiful state of Idaho. Today, he continues to channel his creativity and passion for storytelling into his work at Lioness Studios, where he's always exploring new ways to bring his unique perspective to the screen.

Hailey's roots are firmly planted in Boise, Idaho, where she discovered her passion for the arts at a young age. Immersing herself in both theater and visual arts, she honed her craft from an early age. At eighteen, Hailey made the bold move to San Diego to pursue her dream of studying film. She quickly fell in love with the art form, diving headfirst into every aspect of the industry. From screenwriting to directing, cinematography to editing, Hailey's dedication and hard work quickly paid off.
As a Shakespeare nerd and lover of experimental music, Hailey draws inspiration from unconventional sources, always pushing herself to explore new and innovative ways of telling stories. Her infectious passion for filmmaking is evident in every project she takes on, and she's always eager to collaborate with fellow creatives to bring their visions to life.

When they're not behind the camera or in the editing room, you might find Dominic and Hailey exploring the world around them. Whether it's sipping coffee, indulging in craft cocktails, or reading a good book, they believe in the importance of play and finding moments of joy in everyday life.
Competitive game nights with friends and family are a favorite pastime, and they're always up for a challenge. But they also have a deep love for the great outdoors and find solace in nature. In fact, in 2022 they embarked on a two-month backpacking trip across Ireland and Scotland, documenting their adventures with just a camera, backpacks, and a very limited budget.
For Dominic and Hailey, life is about finding balance between work and play, creativity and adventure. They see the world as a canvas to explore and document, and they're always eager to see what's around the next corner.
